The plan is to map out the metro over the course of however long it takes, and within the next year I plan to go back to Paris to take the photos and map it out myself. Watch this space!

Afternoon :)
- So I am just back from Paris, it was AWESOME. If anything it was better than the first time, I went to some places I had been before (such as Place Mongr) and saw things I had missed out on the first time, and also went to completely new places. I'm not going to lie, I'm quite sad to be back!
- So to the point, I have came home with 200+ photos of various metro stations, some bog standard and some fairly cool ones, such as Franklin D Roosevelt on line 9, plus Bir Hakeim as promised! I'll post them gradually so as not to bombard your feed, but there are some crackers to look forward to!
- Paris 2012 has already been planned, until round three...

After a four month absence I’m finally getting round to continuing this blog.
I am not getting into the reasons for my absence, as this is an appreciation blog not somewhere for me to air my feelings and moan about things. But basically things are back on track so yeah, I’m back!
I am not answering them all (there are so many!) but I came back to so many messages expressing disappointment at the blog being deserted, to you all I apologise! It means a lot that you were all thinking about it to such an extent!
SO! In twelve days I will be gracing the shores of Paris for the second time, armed with my camera and a list of stations that I want to photograph at length. If you have any requests drop me a line and I will try my best to get some shots when I am there!
On top of my list are Abbesses, Chatelet, Concorde, Louvre-Rivoli, Bir Hakeim and Poissoniere. Feel free to contribute.
